(PROHIBITION OF ADVERTISEMENT AND REGULATION OF
TRADE AND COMMERCE, PRODUCTION, SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION) AMENDMENT ACT, 2007

No. 38 OF 2007

An Act to amend the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003.

BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows : -

1. This Act may be called the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition Short title of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Amendment Act, 2007.

Amendment of Section 2 of Act, 34 of 2003.

2. In the Cigarettes and Other tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and distribution) Act, 2003, in section 7, in sub-section (1), for the words "the specified warning including a pictorial depictions of skull and cross bones and such other warning as may be prescribed" the words "such specified warning including a pictorial warning as may be prescribed" shall be substituted.
