Sub: finally arrests

the two words 'finally arrests' indicates the harassment undergone by the complainant, and it is not at all surprising that such arrest was made. In fact, if CBI gains the confidence of the public at large who would be next complainants, then they would be flooded with such complaints. In such a world, it is quite satisfying that the CBI is able to reach out to such levels for arrests.

Sub: corruption in customs

corruption in customs is so rampant and the CHA has to sacrifice for the same. If anything adverse happens, cutoms get hold of CHA first and not the officers who took bribe directly from the importers/exporters. Poor CHA has no escape. If any favouritsm is done by customs to importer/exporter, the concerned officer should be held responsible and liable to penal action and not the CHA. It requires a lot of daring to file a complainst against commissioner and the person must be congratulated to having taken risk.
