The other three Judges who accompanied him were Justices M B Lokur, Ranjan Gogoi and Kurian Joseph. They said that they had earlier written to the CJI and also met him today and briefed him about certain issues but nothing positive has happened.
They insisted that the things which have happened in the SC Administration may be at the peril of the institution and the democracy is at stake. When asked about the 'incidents' they were referring to, allocation of cases was disclosed as one of the areas of concern.
