India-Suriname MoU in electoral management gets Cabinet nod

NEW DELHI, MAY 16, 2018: IN a bid to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of electoral management and administration, the Cabinet has approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Suriname. The cooperation is aimed at building technical assistance or capacity support for Suriname.

The MoU includes exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of organizational and technical development of electoral process; support in exchanging information, institutional strengthening and capacity building, training of personnel, holding regular consultations.
