NEW DELHI, MAY 24, 2019: THE US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USIPF) today extended its congratulations to Prime Minister, Mr Narenda Modi, for the landslide achieved in the general elections, whose results came out yesterday. The highlights of this election are that the victory achieved by Mr Modi's party is even bigger than than it had achieved in 2014 and that such a result talks volumes about the progress made in five years after coming in power in 2014.

In this regard, the CEO and President of the USIPF, Mr Mukesh Aghi, stated that with Mr Modi set to retain office for another five years, the expectations were that India would continue on its path of reforms and accelerate its integration in the global economy. The Chairperson of the Board of Directors at USISPF, Mr John Chambers, also extended his greetings to Prime Minister Modi, stating that the next five years would lay the groundwork for the next 25 years in terms of economic growth and prosperity for the country.

He acknowledged the bold reforms already made by Mr Modi during his time in office. Mr Chambers then stated that he expected India to be able to increase its GDP and economic growth, maximize start-ups and job creation, improve trade and foreign investment and also build on socio-economic progress for all people of India.
