PANCHKULA, AUG 14, 2020: THE Pr Chief Commissioner of Panchkula, Mr Anil K Jain, today released a book "Handbook on GST Audit by Tax Authorities" authored by Mr Anil Kumar Gupta, IRS Pr. ADG NACIN Zonal Campus Chandigarh and Principal Commissioner, GST Audit Panchkula, Mr Baljit Singh Khara, Assistant Director -NACIN Zonal Campus Chandigarh, CS Sanjay Malhotra and CMA Anil Sharma-Chairman NIRC of ICAI (Institute of Cost Accountants of India).

Mr Anil Kumar Gupta praised the efforts of his co-authors for supporting each other during the testing times of COVID 19 Pandemic for completing the book.

On the occasion Mr Baljit S Khara, CS Sanjay Malhotra and CMA Anil Sharma co-authors of the book, also shared their experience while drafting the book and how it will be useful to both officers as well as to taxpayers and GST Consultants.

While releasing the book, Mr Anil Kumar Jain, Pr. Chief Commissioner-GST Zone praised the authors for their efforts to bring book on GST Audit which will help the not only department officials to conduct GST Audit in effective manner with proper understanding of accounting terms but also the professionals such as CA's CMAs and tax consultants in ensuring compliance of GST laws. Mr Jain also appreciated the timing for bringing this book as GST Audit are expected to pick up during FY 2020-21
