APEDA holds virtual buyer-seller meet with Germany

NEW DELHI, NOV 27, 2020: THE Ministry of Commerce and Industry held a virtual buyer-seller meet with German importers to promote the export of agricultural and processed products.
The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the ministry, held the event on Wednesday, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Berlin and the German Agribusiness Alliance.
Dr M Angamuthu, Chairman APEDA, addressed the forum and emphasised the potential of fresh fruits, vegetables and organics produce. The Indian side emphasised the strength of Indian agricultural products in exports.
From the German side, there were presentations on the requirements and expectations of the German market.
The event provided a platform to showcase India's strength in export of fresh fruits and vegetables to further strengthen the confidence of the German buyers in Indian agriproducts and facilitate exports.
