NEW DELHI, FEB 03, 2021: INDIA reported 11,039 fresh coronavirus cases, 14,225 recoveries and 110 deaths over the last 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
So far, India's tally stands at 1,07,77,284 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 1,54,596 fatalities and 1,04,62,631 people who have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
"With a high number of COVID patients recovering every day and the sustained fall in the mortality rate, India's steady trend of registering dipping active cases continues," it said.

There are 1,60,057 active cases in the country as of date, which comprises 1.49 per cent of the total caseload, said the ministry. There are 31 States and Union Territories (UTs) with less than 5,000 active cases.
India's fight against the pandemic saw a major landmark as it became the fastest country in the world to reach the 40-lakh vaccination mark.
After getting approval from regulators, India has managed to administer the first dosage of the COVID-19 vaccine to over 41,38,918 healthcare workers as of Wednesday morning, said the ministry.
