Search Committee invites applications for Lokpal chief & members' positions

NEW DELHI, SEP 30, 2023: THE Search Committee, constituted in terms of section 4(3) of the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, has sought applications/nominations for preparation of panel of names to be placed for the consideration of the Selection Committee for appointment of the Chairperson and Members of the Lokpal. For this purpose, an advertisement was published in leading newspapers on 6 th September, 2023 indicating 28 th September, 2023 (5:00 pm) as the last date and time for receipt of applications/nominations.

The Search Committee has now decided to extend the last date for receipt of applications/nominations to 13 th October, 2023 (5:00 pm). The applications/ nominations, in the prescribed proforma only, may be sent by post addressed to the Chairperson, Search Committee, Post Box No. 12, GPO, New Delhi - 110001 or sent by e mail at the address - " lokpalsearh-com[at]gov[dot]in " within the prescribed period as mentioned above.
