NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010), the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Consumer Affairs, number S.O. 1(E), dated the 31st December, 2010, published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, sub-section (ii), dated the 1st January, 2011, hereby appoints the 1st day of April, 2011, the date on which the said Act, shall come into force.
