It is not only the large numbers of commissioners not finding their names amongst those promoted to the level of principal commissioners , but even more shocking is the absence of some of the finest officers of the department.What has led to such a mess is really intriguing.One would hope that any mistake that might have led to such unprecedented omission of excluding of some of our best officers is corrected soon.
There is something going wrong in matters involving senior appointments. Initially, COS did not recommend some outstanding officers for members.When some aggrieved
Officers refused to take such injustice lying down , the very COS on review found them fit.it is thus evident that the COS had earlier done a shoddy job.Yet an outstanding officer has been left out.Will anyone be held accountable for such perfunctory discharge of duties involving appointment of special secretary level officers?
