Service Tax Return - Problems in Filing - Will Board react?

ST-3 returns

Dear Sir, Another problem faced by the assessees while filing the ST3 returns is that if the amount payable and paid is not the same then the same is not uploaded. One of our clients had paid in excess and when the same was reflected in the returns, it was not accepted on the ground that the tax payable and paid does not match. So how do the assessees file the returns if there is an excess/short payment.
