Amendment of section 198.

40. In section 198 of the Income-tax Act, for the portion begin‚ning with the words and figures ìthe provisions of sections 192î and ending with the word, figures and letter ìsection 196Dî, the words ìthe foregoing provisions of this Chapterî shall be substi‚tuted with effect from the 1st day of October, 2004.
