Subject: - Filling up the post of Technical Member In National Anti-Profiteering Authority- reg.

I am directed to say that 2 posts of Technical Member in National Anti-Profiteering Authority are likely to fall vacant shortly.

2. In terms of Section 122 (b) the Central Goods & Services Tax Rules, 2017, officers who are or have been Commissioners of State Tax or Central Tax for at least one year or have held an equivalent post under the existing law, are eligible for the post of Technical Member.

The Technical Member of the Authority shall hold office for a term of two years from the date on which he enters upon has office, or until he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier and shall be eligible for reappointment.

3. It is requested that the above post may kindly be circulated among the eligible officers under your charge and duly filled in applications of willing and eligible officers, duly authenticated, amy be forwarded through proper channel to the Board latest by 13.04.2018 after verifying the particulars furnished by the applicants and it may be ensured that the same are correct before the application is forwarded to the Board.

4. It may please be noted that no action will be taken on advance copies and on the applications received without proper authentication/verification or the application received after 13.04.2018.
