GST - Govt extends deadlines for filing returns in flood-hit Kerala & Karnataka

NEW DELHI, AUG 21, 2018: The Government today extended the last date for filing the Form GSTR-3B for the month of July 2018, till August 24, 2018. Such extension has been granted to all classes of taxpayers. The notification to this effect would be issued shortly. Moreover, the Government also came out with another scheme to provide a measure of relief to taxpayers located in the flood-stricken states of Kerala and Karnataka. In view of the disruption caused due to severe floods in Kerala, Mahe (Puducherry) and Kodagu (Karnataka), the Competent Authority has extended the due dates for filing of the following GST returns.
Thereby, the new dates for filing returns are -
