GST Day - CBIC calls for names for Commendation Certificates

NEW DELHI, JUNE 04, 2019: IT is going to be two years since the GST was introduced. And, as announced last year, July 1 is going to be commemorated as GST Day. On this occasion, the CBIC has decided to grant commendation certificate but only to their own officers and no other stake-holders, which should have been an ideal scenario.

Anyway, the CBIC has asked its senior field officials to nominate three officers after proper scrutiny and with their APAR records. However, officers who have received Presidential Awards & WCO Certificates, are to be excluded.

The last date for sending names is going to be June 10, 2019.
