Why Should Indians Be Proud of Their Track-record of Corruption?


Salaries of poliltical executives not comparable with business executives

It is ridiculous to compare salaries of political executives or that of government servants with that of business executives. Political executives and government servants are paid their salaries and perks from the taxes and other revenues earned by the State. How on earth can this be compared with that of remuneration earned by business executives? Even in the USA, American President is paid a salary of USD 400000 with allowances amounting to USD 150000 whereas CEOs of large US Corporations make millions in compensation and stock options. Barack Obama was earning several times more as a trial lawyer before he became the US President. So, guys give me a break. Think logically.
